Summer days are usually filled with playing in the sun, ice cream, enjoying the outdoors, being with friends, etc! It's also a time where I notice if we take too much time off of school work, getting back into a routine is tough and is filled with a lot of review once we start up again. To reduce some of the "summer slide" that happens, I've put together a fun calendar for June filled with various educational activities! Enjoy playing and learning this summer!
This educational learning activities calendar is great for kiddos in 1st-3rd grade.
I find it helpful to have things planned out or they most likey won't happen.
Printable Activities Calendar
Just print it out and make it a goal to do each thing on the calendar or have your kiddos decide his/her favorites.Most activities on the calendar are fairly simple and only require a few extra materials you probably already have on hand.
Each day is designated to a specific subject; Math is Monday, Language Arts {writing/ spelling/ grammar} is Tuesday, Art is Wednesday, Science is Thursday, and Friday is reserved for "other" skills-- logic, fine motor, geography, etc.
