Have fun with this hands-on way to travel around the world locating famous landmarks from your kitchen table! It is a simple way to learn about countries, continents, and famous landmarks.
Perhaps this Famous Landmarks Matching Activity will ignite a spark in your child to want to learn more about the world around them.
We are not studying world geography right now, but the idea came to me and it was simple enough to pull everything together and make a quick activity for my 8 year old.
What you need:
First I had my son match the Landmark Toobs to the flashcards. These flashcards are part of a larger set that I purchased from the Target Dollar Spot a few years ago.
Next I read the back of the flashcard and where it was located and my son searched our fabric world map
to find the country the landmark is in and placed the landmark on the map.
This was such a simple activity to talk about different countries and reinforce past learning about the seven continents!
Enjoy this hands-on "Where in the World" Landmarks Game with your child!
