One of Little Brother's favorite stories when he was about 2 years old was, Little Blue Truck by Alice Schertle.  It easily became one of my favorite reads, too!  There aren't too many books that I can say I'm happy to read every night, several times before my little ones finally doze off, know what I mean?

To go along with this story, I made a Count and Graph Animals Worksheet with a farm theme.

  • cows
How many of each can you find?

For every farm animal your child finds, color in the graph below!

If you want to re-use this activity, place the printable in a page protector and use with dry erase markers.

When finished, this printable lends itself to be a great opportunity to talk about:

  • most/ least.  What farm animal did you find the most of?  The least of?
  • addition to 10.  How many more sheep do we need to get to 10?
  • 1:1 correspondence
