Today's Fine Motor Fridays post was inspired by the loveable and well-known Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer. And color matching. And clothespins!
When you put those three things together, you get our Color Matching Reindeer Clothespin Activity.
At the end of the post I have included our Reindeer Face Template to make this activity a little bit easier for you to put together. Since I've already done it, I'd love to share it with you!
Once you have printed and/or made a Reindeer face template yourself, I highly encourage you to laminate
them for durability. This activity can definitely be re-used over the next few weeks... and beyond!
After prepping the reindeer faces by laminating and cutting them out, use marker and/or paint to to color your mini clothespins
to make colorful reindeer antlers.
So for Rudolph the Blue Nosed Reindeer, make two clothespins blue... and so on.
If you choose to get all fancy, add some glitter glue to your clothespin antlers!
Once the activity is prepped and ready to go, present it to your child! Have them work on those fine motor skills by matching Rudolph's colorful antlers to the color of his nose.
Enjoy!
