We teamed up with our Creative Preschool friends to share some fun nature inspired ornaments you can make with your preschooler.
There isn't much outside right now except for a backyard full of bare branches, so we were inspired to decorate some twigs for our nature inspired ornament craft.
I cut several small twigs from a tree outside and my kiddos had a great time painting Twigcicles.

Nature Christmas Ornament
To begin, set out a little twigcicle creation station with paint and various craft materials readily available.
Along with our paint, I had tissue paper, gems, glitter, sequins, and washi tape.
I also had our hot glue gun fired up just in case someone wanted to add sequins to their twigcicle!
There was no method to their madness, but pure delight as they created!
Once they dried, I cut several pieces of green wire and wrapped one tightly around one end of each twigcicle and bent the free end of the wire into a hook-like shape to be hung on the tree.
Now we have some new ornaments for the tree, inspired by nature and made by my precious kids!
I just love our twigcicles!
