The Fourth of July is the perfect time to make some DIY t-shirts.
Prior to my blogging days, Big Brother (who was my one and only at the time) and I sponge painted red, white, and blue stars on our shirts.
Another year, Big Brother created a really cool Fourth of July tie dye shirt.
When Little Sis came along, we made this adorable and easy DIY 4th of July T-Shirt which was perfectly fitting for the holiday.

Cute Fourth of July T-Shirt
Supplies:
- T-shirt
- blue fabric paint
- sponge brush
- red rosette ribbon {purchased from Hobby Lobby}
- fabric glue
- scissors
- parchment paper
I promise this'll be one of the cutest and easiest DIY shirts you will make! Actually, the "hardest" part was probably making sure I got a nice hand print from Little Sis. I love hand print art, but that is WORK all in itself!
How to make this adorable 4th of July Shirt:
1. Place parchment paper or a piece of cardboard inside the shirt to protect the paint from going through to the other side.
2. Next, paint your little ones hand blue and have her press her hand print in the upper right corner of the t-shirt. Wash off and the little one is all done.
3. While the blue hand print is drying, cut your rosette ribbon various lengths to represent the flag's stripes.
4. Apply the fabric glue to the ribbon and press the ribbon onto the shirt. Allow to dry according to the glue's instructions.
5. Proudly wear this adorable Fourth of July keepsake shirt!
If you are looking to make a cool 4th of July shirt for your son, instead of red rosettes... paint a red stripe or have your little boy paint red lines using a car!!
