Creating and giving Christmas cards to family, friends, and neighbors is a wonderful way to spread holiday cheer.  It's a simple way to be a blessing and share the message of the true gift of the holiday... by giving a gift.  And gifting need not be big or elaborate!  It could simply be expressing one's creativity through arts and crafts by making a homemade Christmas card!

Our local MOPS group planned a meeting to sing carols to the residents of a nursing home, and to spread more holiday cheer my kiddos and I made a stack of Christmas cards to pass out.   These Christmas cards for kids to make were made with what was left from last year's stash of Christmas wrapping paper. Each card was filled with creativity and love.

Paper was flying, glue sticks were rolling, and kids were shouting, "Hey! I need that...."

It was a beautiful mess.
