How to Play this Alphabet Basketball Game
Once you have printed and cut up the printable ABC Basketballs, spread them out all over the floor. If your child isn't ready for all 26 letters of the alphabet, just use the letters he/she is familiar with, like the letters in your child's name.
Call out a letter and have your child find it and crumple it up to make a ball.
If necessary, also have flashcards or some kind of letter manipulative handy so that your child knows what letter to look for if he/she is unsure.
Crumpling the paper into "basketballs" is such a great way to practice fine motor skills!
My little guy really had to work at manipulating the paper when we first began, but soon became a pro!
Take the crumpled "basketball" and shoot in in the hoop! Score!
Hope your little one(s) enjoy this as much as my kiddos did!
