Simple Wreath Ornament Toddlers Can Make

12.14.2014

Big Brother and Little Sis both love crafting, so making ornaments this Christmas season is a must do!

Thought I'd do a little mini series on the blog and today is Day 1 of 5 Simple Christmas Ornaments for Kids! Along with doing the basics, reading and crafting Christmas Around the World, I have been setting up simple inviations to create ornaments, for my kiddos.  They love crafting, so we have been busy!

I picked up a few packs of miniature bows from the Dollar Store during my last trip.  I didn't have anything at the time planned for them, but that soon changed.  Using some cardstock, the bows, and a glue stick, both kiddos made a cute and simple Miniature Bow Wreath Ornament to hang on the tree.

To make your own, you'll need:

The activity took just a few minutes to prep; I cut out a wreath shape from our cardstock and had the kiddos glue the bows onto the wreath.  Once they were done, I tied some yarn around the wreath to hang it on our tree.  In literally just a few minutes we had two new ornaments to add to our Christmas tree!
